Some poems from Francesca Guli to wrap up National Poetry Month 2017

What better way to wrap up National Poetry Month 2017 than with some poems from Nazareth alum, former faculty member and "poet-in-residence" Francesca Guli?

The following poems are from Verity Fair 1945 and 1946, courtesy of the Library archives.  Verity Fair (otherwise known as Verity Faire or Verity) was Nazareth College's long-standing literary magazine.  Send us an email if you'd like to see more items from Verity Fair!  You can also read more about it on page 30 in the Winter 2011/12 issue of Connections.

If you'd like to see more of Francesca Guli's published work, you can search our library catalog for Guli, Francesca as Author.  We have quite a few of her books!

  1. Thank you for this post. I never had her for a class, but many of us knew her, for her presence, her poetry and her love of Dante. - UG class of '81
